03. How do I watch the channels?

05. What movie player do I require?
You will require Windows Media Player 10 or above to watch all movies on Excellent-TV.com. You can download it from here: Download the latest version of Windows Media Player.
06. What speed should my Internet connection be?
Excellent-TV.com is designed for users with a broadband connection. Windows Media Player will detect your connection speed when it serves the stream up. Obviously the faster your connection the better the performance, but it should be fine for anyone on 1meg+ broadband. For slower connections we offer a lower quality side-stream for each channel.
07. Can I watch Excellent-TV.com on a Mac?
Unfortunately, Microsoft has not kept the Mac version of Windows Media Player up to date, so it does not currently work with the Excellent-TV DRM system. Hopefully this will be remedied soon. As such, the only way to watch Excellent-TV with a Mac is if you have "Parallels" installed. We are currently working on alternative player formats.
08. I have playback issues?
First of all make sure you have the latest version of Windows Media Player installed.
If the stream keeps stopping and starting try extending your buffer. This should allow the stream to keep playing for longer intervals without stopping to re-buffer":
Open Windows Media Player, select "Tools", then "Options", and finally "Performance". You can then extend your buffer time manually.
Leave Security Settings. Click OK to leave Internet Options.
If you are still having problems and cannot find the answer in this FAQ section then please contact us and we will do everything we can to help.
09. How do I cancel my subscription?
Once you are logged in simply go to the "My Account" page and from there you can manage your subscriptions, change your username, password and email address, and you can even see a report of transactions attributed to your account. You can also cancel your account by contacting our dedicated customer services team and they will be happy to help you with any issues or questions you may have.
